Iranian Cinema Community Condemns Massacre of Innocent People in Gaza by Zionist Regime
In a statement, Iranian cinema community condemns the massacre of innocent people, mothers, and children in Gaza and Palestine by the Zionist regime.

According to the Public Relations Department of Iran's Cinema Organization, over 470 filmmakers, veterans, young filmmakers, and cinema activists have so far condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime against innocent people, mothers, women, and children in Gaza. The process of receiving the names of other filmmakers who have not yet been able to announce their support is ongoing.

The statement emphasized, "Turning a blind eye to this extent of savagery by the Zionist regime is treason and a crime. We, the Iranian artists and filmmakers, express our solidarity with all innocent people and the victims of this cruel war, and we condemn the brutal killings of women, mothers, children, and the elderly in Gaza and Palestine."

Among the signatories and supporters of this statement are prominent figures in Iranian cinema, including Ebrahim Hatamikia, Masoud Jafari Jozani, Ahmad Reza Darvish, Mohammad Khazaei, Abolghasem Talebi, Marzieh Boroumand, Pouran Derakhshandeh, and Zia Hashemi.

The full statement is as follows:
"In your eyes, the sorrow of humanity is summarized," Nizar Qabbani, the great Arab poet.

Once again, the world is ashamed of the slaughter and displacement of thousands of innocent Palestinians, mothers, and children in Gaza, at the hands of the Zionist regime.

The flames of war have once again reduced homes, families, hospitals, and schools in Gaza to rubble, amid the negligence of international organizations and complex, ineffective diplomacy. It is the innocent people who are paying the price. Now, the clarion call of awakened consciences resonates, and art and artists take the lead in this critical juncture, standing as the watchtower of human honor and dignity.

To turn a blind eye to this extent of savagery by the Zionist regime today is a betrayal and a crime. We must stand on the right side of history.

We, the artists and filmmakers of Iran, express our solidarity with all innocent people and the victims of this cruel war. We condemn the brutal killings of women, mothers, children, and the elderly in Gaza and Palestine.
